At this point, I think I just have to admit that giallo aren't for me. The Red Queen Kills Seven Times is another sloppily made move both in terms of the story and the movie making. Tons and tons of flat, interchangeable characters that are terribly acted, follow a plot that makes no sense and feels like it was written as they were filming it. The castle makes no sense and clearly no one was watching this with any critical eye because the blood and gore just are nonsensical and there are tons and tons of stupid little mistakes like the guy shooting three feet above someone's head, and the person holding their lower ribs like they were hit. There was some interesting cinematography and a few sets looked great, but the acting is offensively bad, especially in the opening sequence.
