Dear god this was absolutely amazing. Again, it's Gregory Peck so...
No alright, if I have to be completely serious I'll proudly say this was the most beautiful thing I have ever watched. The acting was amazing and the space shots were beautiful. I enjoyed the whole plot and tbh getting stuck in space is my biggest fear. This was so visually pleasing and so plot packed but I was stressing my ass off as if I was there lmao. I think this film is so so underrated and I loooved it. I highly recommend it.
As someone who's really interested in space since young age, I can say that the child in me is screaminggggg. I absolutely loved this. Fun fact, this movie actually won best effects (it was the 60's okay, chill they didn't have Avatar back then). I'm not really the type to watch sci-fi films so when this genuinely kept me entertained I was surprised and a bit glad because I really wanted to like this and I did.
This film is one of many others that I have grown to love and enjoy. It is definitely one of a small amount of films that are about space that I genuinely enjoyed. I do think there is some cliché in the films nowadays but they're still very beautiful of course. Also, I have an original Apollo picture from my old lad which I thought was also really cool.
