This was a nice little watch. The Silence of the Lambs is definitely one of the greatest films ever made and I loved learning about how they made it and I loved listening to all of the interesting details that the cast and crew got to share. I am disappointed that Jonathan Demme and Jodie Foster weren’t in this, but at least Anthony Hopkins was able to share his thoughts about the movie and his portrayal as Hannibal Lecter. I had no idea that Gene Hackman was originally supposed to direct The Silence of the Lambs, nor did I know that Michelle Pfeiffer was the original choice to play Clarice. Howard Shore’s score is truly remarkable and elevated the entire vibe of the movie. I also never really realized just how great every single actor is in this movie, they are all giving it their all. So yeah, this was a good little documentary and had a lot of neat little insights that I found very intriguing.
