What a great ending. I really liked this one, since it doesn’t get boring during the runtime. Some pacing issues but thats about it. Acting was good, especially with it being my second Alexander Petrov movie (he is the goat), great music and the beginning scene where the ship crashed to earth and the ending scene was crazy.

the action in this overuses slow motion in a way that makes me think that fyodor bondarchuk may be something like the jj abrams of russia. the whole thing has this very particular style to it that is cliche but honestly kinda perfect for what i was looking to watch today lmao
this was so entertaining, about as technically good as something like divergent but just as fun which is half the battle anyways. i really did enjoy it especially after they introduced the alien character. i was expecting this to be a lot worse so i’m happily surprised even if it wasn’t great. excited to see the second one is apparently better because sometimes i need a little trashy sci fi ya romance.
BUT JUSTICE FOR SVETLANA! her best friend who i think was a lesbian despite her having maybe two minutes of screen time at most.
