i love the practical effects in this movie a lot!! but yeah it has its flaws..
i’m a massive fan of B movie trash, and this movie was just the definition of that. it features some really gross practical effects which i think are extremely cool looking, that alone made me like this film. it’s a campy 70s horror flick which uses unintentional comedy and a silly narrative to create a somewhat enjoyable experience. unfortunately, there’s a lot of negatives. i find the pacing abnormally slow. like it felt like watching paint try, i really hated the massive variety or characters, i hate when films switch its main character every 5 minutes as it’s just confusing and it just destroys any potential development. the plot is incoherent and has a messy narrative, i also think this just isn’t very interesting in the slightest, they could’ve leaned more into the so bad it’s good factor, but it just fails to peak my interest. wish i liked it more… but i don’t

While it has great effects for its time. This is one of the worst films I could have ever come across. Not nearly as bad as your typical “bad film”, it still has the hangs up of really bad films. Bad acting, day for night and a plot that gets lost in the sauce. 2 out of 5 stars.

Thought I’d seen this episode of MST3K before, but I haven’t and realized it was the actual movie I watched. Actually one of the more entertaining movies they ever done.
