31 On 31: 70s & 80s Slashers
I like the switching between Helen’s face and Amanda’s face shots. Obviously we know Brian’s brain is tricking him into thinking Amanda is Helen, but I appreciate that they flashed their two faces so we see what he is seeing.
I feel a bit bad for Brian, but… to be honest, I really don’t know how to feel about him. However, that just reminds me that I love a good complex character.
Towards the end, it does drag a bit and I got distracted a little, but for the majority of the movie, I was 100% engaged.
Last thing: damn. I feel for Amanda. Now she has to live with all this for the rest of her life. She has to carry that guilt, for both Tara and Helen.
