Literally nothing makes sense narratively and I’m only rating it high for the vibes. If you love dumb slasher trash then you’ll love this.

Sleazy and sexy fun, all shot on camcorder with obnoxious, tinny, high-pitched beeps and boops as a soundtrack. Boardinghouse’s dedication is less to story and more to the human body, depicting it in lurid states, male and female. Every moment is an excuse to lounge by the pool in as little clothing as possible only for you to remember partway this is about psychic murders. The performances of terror and fear are so over the top in such an entertaining way.

I do not recommend watching this with headphones attached, however. Ouch.
