this is another super underrated slasher!! I’ve put a spoiler warning bc i want to talk about the killer so bad hehe but he’s so interesting & so creepy. i love that his identity isn’t hidden by a mask, although i loved masked killers so much. i love that you see his face the whole time yet we never find out who he is & what his motive was. That just makes him so much more terrifying & i loved it!! i also really loved the characters. Courtney & Radish were my favourites & their romance was the cutest thing ever!! I’m just gonna pretend they got to be together in the end bc my heart can’t handle. my mootie @Josh introduced & watched this movie w me hehe & it was the best time, as always!! this is definitely worth a watch, especially if you love underrated 80s slashers 🩸📚🔪

Could have been great with a more memorable killer, but it's saved by a really likeable cast of characters, especially Joel S Rice's 'Radish'. The movie spends the majority of the runtime developing the group of teens and despite it being clearly low budget you get some great characters. So much so that you hate to see them get killed off.

The final 20 minutes or so are literally where all the action happens, and without any backstory, mask, or any sniff of motivation, the killer is pretty blah. Still, it's a fun 20 minutes, and the lingering shot of the final girl as the credits roll add some rare pathos to the subgenre.

It's underseen and very charming, bit otherwise fairly average.

ugh!! yawn. just another copy of a copy, this film has potential but this is not a fun watch.

the cover pretty much sums up this film, boring and unoriginal. in many ways this actually reminds me of prom night, an hour of useless bore and nothing happening, and then the last  30 minutes being overcrowded with action. but atleast prom night has good gore and music.. what really does this offer tbh? the music is mediocre at best and the gore is meh. maybe the reason this isn’t lower is the early 80s vibe, i think this is the golden era of slashers even if they’re some duds like this one. but this film has okay characters, a decent plot and a boring killer. also not memorable in the slightest
