The efforts I went to to download this movie. Got a VPN, tried to buy it on American Amazon. Eventually I just found it flipped on Dailymotion in parts and mirrored, also slowed down. So my judging of this movies pacing must be off.
But, this is so cringe. It screams a 60 year old trying to be hip and relevant and it falls so flat. Also Jake Paul?. Why Jake Paul?. I have no idea. Aswell as that guy from the good place and Karen Soni (my beloved).

Mono is on Netflix. That doesn’t mean you should watch it. If you’re in the mood to hate-watch something, go for it. But damn, this movie is fucking terrible. It’s borderline so bad, that it’s good. There are so many cringeworthy moments in the film. The dialogue is god awful. The story is unbelievably dumb. The acting is absolutely atrocious. The performances are equally as over the top as they are bland and lifeless. It almost makes the movie worth watching. But then you watch the rest of the movie and regret it more than intercourse with a prostitute with the potential of having HIV.
