Can't Stop the Music

A highly camp over the top and over the budget musical, featuring the icons that are the Village People!

This was a fun watch, and interesting to see all the innuendos and hints that this is a gay film with out outwardly saying it was (due to the time it was made).

The numbers were fun, especially the YMCA sequence! My fav of the Village People Glenn (The leatherman) was phenomenal in it!

It was like two hours so that was a draw back and did drag at points with strange plot fillers! But was still a fun watch!

It’s as if the disco threw up on a jukebox and someone filmed it with sincere intentions.

The Village People's origin story was not asked for, but somehow… too much and not enough simultaneously.
