At a party, someone goes insane and murders three women. Falsely accused of the brutal killings, Jerry is on the run. More bizarre homicides continue with alarming frequency all over town. Trying to clear his name, Jerry discovers the shocking truth...people are losing their hair and turning into violent psychopaths and the connection may be some LSD all the murderers took a decade before.

The inciting incident of this film being so distant and only glimpsed in ways that are just tersely functional enough to convey the plot gives one space to read whatever into it.
As it became clearer to me that my own imagined intrigue wasn’t going to resolve or even step closer to the foreground—the apparent futility of it all became the focal point for me. This too dissipated in the literal last possible moments as the film played its final card. That fleeting pastiche feeling more peculiar than any of the other somewhat weird beats that played out relatively deftly before.
