halfway into the film, i was quite taken aback by the conversation about manufactured wars and the military-industrial complex; ashamed over the fact that i'd severely underestimated how politically charged tamil cinema was in the early 2000s against the backdrop of the civil war.

this may be one of the best tamil films i've ever watched :')
