Before the Flood

I fell for the whole “important documentary” vibe of Before the Flood, but lowkey it felt more like a long celebrity climate tour than something that actually hits hard. I get why they brought in Leonardo DiCaprio to raise awareness, but he looked like he didn’t even wanna be there half the time. And the moment I saw Elon Musk, my rating instantly dropped by 3 stars.

i watched it in apes today and it was like very eye opening about global warming and climate change globally. it seemed contradictory to have leo dicaprio as the main focus/star in the docu bc of his carbon emissions but he has the luxury to be able to travel and see first hand how global warming/climate change impacts people globally and how it affects those who aren't as fortunate as him.
