America is terrorism. Terrorism is america.
Modern capitalist society survives off the widespread Stockholm syndrome of the general public that has us fooled that we can only live while siding with the oppressive, abusive upper class.
Never forget the last time there was extreme economic crash we recovered with the most progressive, social policy of American history (the New Deal).

2009 | Documentary
While I haven’t read Naomi Klein’s book yet, “The Shock Doctrine” is a great documentary about capitalisms reliance of disasters and wars. If you’re somewhat knowledgeable about any of the issues discussed here, none of this will surprise you. But seeing it collected into one doc and seeing the connection from chile to iraq is very interesting.

Unlimited Power.
The idea that neo-liberal capitalism feeds on natural disasters, war and terror to establish its dominance is not an entirely new concept to me, but I didn't really grasp it in its entirety until now. Hats off to Naomi Klein for the way she is able to convey her message in an engaging manner that doesn't go way over my head. It makes me question why they didn't get her to narrate this.
