I wish I could tell you what this movie was about but the terrible audio + no subtitles on the dvd let this be genuinely unwatchable. I think I know some stuff that went on?? Something about World War II, something about Egypt, she kisses a lot of dudes idk man😭😭 from what I could gather it seems pretty nuanced, admitting that for some British people, wartime was when they were happiest because of the purpose it gave them, and that without the war they feel lost.
So many good actors in here I wish I could hear their performances
Visually stunning tho like this movie FEELS good even if I’m going in blind and by blind I mean deaf. Meryl Streep could stand there for the entire movie and I’d cheer.
