i’m a sucker for basically any pulpy noir movie where the detective is kinda smart but also fucks up and kinda stumbles through the whole movie. this is a crisp 90 minutes, perfect length. it’s not particularly smart and the plot is not twisty turny enough for me but it is still pretty great. highly recommend
