Phillip Filmore is a naive, 15-year-old, preoccupied with sex, who develops a crush on Nicole Mallow, the new 30-something, French housekeeper and sitter to look after him when Phillip's father is out of town for the summer on a "business" trip. But Mr. Filmore's unscrupulous chauffeur, Lester Lewis, takes advantage of Phillip's crush on Nicole to hire her to seduce the youth, then draws her into a plot to fake her own death in a blackmail scheme aimed to drain Phillip's trust fund.

literal pedophile film. also very poorly executed. but considering this was the 80s, it made for a decent sex comedy i would think. the kids were kind of funny at the start. though there are definitely way better ones out there. i hated the pacing it was so weird.

sometimes i think whether it's morally or ethically right to cast huge age gaps especially if (like in this film) it involves more skin exposure. i have an issue with the idea of the perversion of innocence. basically using kids in films circled around sex and putting them in roles that involve that or kids being exposed to nudity. ITS JUST NOT RIGHT? he was 17 when this film was released, and they definitely started production when he was younger, so a good 15/16 years of age (accurate for his screen age). but this still kind of makes it hard to watch.

what i do have to say and give it to them for though, is the quality of the film. usually films from the 80s have worse quality than the 70s (true to the ones i've seen, there's definitely a decrease in quality somehow, for some, not all of course).
