a brilliant and real story that provides just a glimpse into a woman’s world in india. you actually get frustrated as the story gets more twisted by the boys’ words, you’re literally placed right in the courtroom with them and that is so much fun.
amitabh bachchan, what else is there to say about him? i wish we did delve more into who he is as a character and more of his background other than his ill wife, but im still satisfied. the acting is definitely the strongest characteristic of this film, with taapsee pannuu lowkey almost making me cry, and falak’s character’s monologue was powerful. you really just want all of these characters’ misery to end.
no witty one liner at the end this time, i was that engaged.
