❝Oh, here we go: you fucking English intellectuals! You think you're so superior, huh: even you need money, Bill! Money bought the house, not fucking ideas!❞

I started watching The Party for Cillian, but I ended up really enjoying it. The cast do an incredible job, because it's so easy to hate almost all of their characters; I especially couldn't stand the cynical and really quite bitchy April (played by Patricia Clarkson). There were so many plot twists and the dialogue was uplifted by some great black comedy. And it's a good thing that the run-time was relatively short, because it allowed for the story to be snappy and sharp rather than being spread thinly for two hours; all in all, a pretty great film.
