An actual nightmare interrupts a sordid Hitchcock-y thriller. Like, I was already on board and then it hit me with that stomach-sinking feeling. It swings back to potboiler - horny, convoluted, and silly- but I like that stuff, too. Then it swings back... one of the more effective “driven mad” movies I’ve seen.
