Oh yeah, no, it's perfectly normal to see someone hanging and then to ask that same corpse: "What is it?" If I saw a dead body, my first instinct would be to talk to it too.

One of the few of the films in the original run of Amityville movies I haven’t seen. You know, way before the “franchise” became “Amityville Ad Libs” and they just pick the most ridiculous thing ever. I can’t believe in this timeline there exists movies called Amityville Karen and Amityville Vibrator!
But man, this one is a drag! I mean, something like Amityville Dollhouse isn’t good, but it’s so entertaining and never a dull moment, good for getting together with friends and having your own MST3K! With this, I’m sure your friends will stop talking to you forever if you showed them it. Plenty of those dull moments in here. In fact, I hereby dub this movie “Amityville Dull Moments!” Even the ghosts seemed bored to haunt this one.
