To be honest this was just something I stumbled across and it’s such a good fine too. It keeps you interested the entire time and you enjoy it too. I like the story and some of the plots down the line and I can recommend this to anyone.

An absolutely brilliant little deadpan comedy following the life of a low-level Jewish gangster called Harry Putnik after his release from prison. Set in New York and filmed on location this film has a wonderful atmosphere, around various parties and events that Putnik attends. All the characters he meets are charmingly unique and very funny, I loved all the different personalities and places within his world. This film is like a fantastic portal into the life of a late 60s New Yorker, I loved it.

I just love the way this movie looks. It feels so specific and dated while also being ahead of its time. I could have watched three more movies about this guy.
