Chris and his girlfriend Rose go upstate to visit her parents for the weekend. At first, Chris reads the family's overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter's interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he never could have imagined.

Pretty high up on my list of “No idea why I haven’t watched this yet” movies. I’m a big fan of JP’s other films; Us and Nope are some of my favorite horror movies and I’ve seen them many times. Which is why I was always skeptical when people were quick to say that Get Out is probably his strongest work. I get it now.
Straight to the point and skillfully subtle of its (sub?)text at the same time. A horror movie that actually gives its protagonist agency and common sense. Just awesome. Happy 4th of July!
Also portrays the immorality of private practice medicine

Really good. It had me tense the whole time, great buildup, and by the end I was literally begging that man to leave the house.
