Linklater is a national treasure! Such a wonderful film filled with spirit, brotherhood, laughter, love, and memories. Phenomenal performances from some of my favorite actors and writing so good you forget it’s scripted. This touched my soul.

I’ve seen people refer to linklaters movies as hangout movies and after watching this and dazed I couldn’t agree more, he’s brilliant at being able to paint the picture of his characters lives through his dialogue and direction. The acting is solid and conveys the emotions of the characters really well especially considering this could of just been multiple Oscar bait performance sequences over and over again.
