Доброе новогоднее кино про любовь, но с книгой Стругацких не имеет почти ничего общего, так что "адаптация" слово громковатое. Всё равно хороший вайбик имеется и Александра Яковлева ну просто няшечка вкусняшечка. Возможно я просто не фанат советского кинематографа, поэтому по достоинству оценить не могу. What’s with old men and being gross? Petrov and Vasichkin reference? After the first episode (a lot of soviet movies are in episodes) i thought “hey, this is like that Strugatsky brothers book” only to see that they wrote the script in the credits, lol. Love those guys, “Stalker” is also based on their book and they wrote the script for it. Love the Russian literary tradition of giving characters last names that describe their personality. Fs it’s a thing in other literature, i just encountered it only in Russian literature, and it’s fun that some authors continued doing that up to soviet times, like Pushkin or smth. Fun winter movie tho, that gave us 2 great winter holiday songs

I'm so blinded by nostalgia (or Stockholm Syndrome by being forced to watch it every year growing up) with this movie that I have no idea if it's good or not, but I still find myself watching it.
