The second night is the final part of a trilogy that began with Letter from a filmmaker to his daughter, which was followed by Dreaming films. The making of this " Cabin Trilogy" is the fruit of fifteen years of work and reflection.

Une éloge, un souvenir , un poème cinématographique évoquant le thème du deuil avec une certaine mélancolie et douceur. Des fragments de vie tous mis bout à bout pour nous raconter l’histoire d’une âme chère : celle qui nous an mis au monde et celle qu’on devra ce séparer un jour ou l’autre.
Eric Pauwels nous rappelle que nos mamans sont tellement importantes à notre développement passé et futur et qu’il faut en prendre grand soin et commémorer nos moments passés ensemble .

I love how beautifully everything is presented in this movie, as the director highlights beauty in every small detail that I would not normally pay attention to.
