The evil Charlie Chaplin Could have been 15 mins shorter Not even as gory as I thought before the rewatch I don’t think the supernatural stuff is good for a movie like that The effects are on point People hating it for the gore and then liking Bone Tomahawk are dumb

The killer clown mommy issues shoehorned into the 2nd act felt slightly unnecessary. Other than that all levels of gore were paramount in serving the overarching story

Once Upon a Time in a Fucked Up Halloween Season (#9)> I've been curious to watch these two movies for a while now and let's just say that this is exactly what I expected it to be. I watched it on a 4K TV and it still looked like dogshit Art the Clown is a fun villain at least, he looks creepy and you can tell that the director spent a bunch of time building this flat character into something kind of fun to watch at times. I wish he shared that opportunity evenly between the direction, acting, pacing, editing, writing, and so much more. This is a giant piece of shit that doesn't live up to the hype that a bunch of gore fiends who are willing to suck Damien Leone's dick set up as the next coming of Christ. I hated pretty much every character in this not only based on how they have no personalities outside of boring, drunk, and in college but also because they make some of the most hair-brained decisions in any horror film that made me berate my TV. The structure and writing are so deeply flawed that many things don't belong and it could be cut down by 40 minutes which makes me scared the watch the next one because it's over 2 fucking hours. If you want to watch a good modern-day slasher, watch X.
