Might be Kieślowski best work, I haven’t watched all his movies but I think this one was his best so far, the main character was very likeable which made everything that happened later harder to watch, Kieślowski really can make you love and hate characters so easily, one second you’re fully supporting them and the other think they are the worst and I think you can see it clearly with this and dekalog as a whole, them not revealing how much time he spend away from his wife and daughter made me think its like a couple weeks and it shocked me when they revealed it was 5 months actually
