Slow and to be honest a bit disjointed especially in the beginning. Fonda is very good and some points the story is good and intriguing concept just not executed in a great way. Intense finish though at least makes it kinda worth the watch.

Completely forgot Jason Robards was in this, and he apparently won an Oscar for his performance. I don't know why.
First half was pretty slow but it picks up once Maximillian Schell enters the film.
