The first killer was very predictable, and their motive felt quite weak. The second killer’s motive wasn’t much better, it came across as a corny revenge story more than anything. Additionally, reusing the same characters from the first movie by making them seem dead only for them not to be just feels repetitive and dull. Moreover, some of the characters and the decisions they took was just extremely idiotic and ridiculous, they had the opportunity to kill or at least reveal who the killer was much earlier but instead they did the complete opposite.
Nonetheless, I did find it quite entertaining and fun. Also its save to say that Joel is the most rational and sane person in this movie.
