6.8/10 not bad but not great. Man I wanted to like this more but it was so boring at points. Like every other Scream it does the opening scene so amazing but this is the weakest opening scene I’ve seen for the original trilogy. Also it was the least scary of the original 3 and only scared me a couple times. This honestly is the definition of middle of the pack. I’m sorry but the character of Sidney Prescott just doesn’t do anything for me. I loved her in the first but in 2 she was good enough where I didn’t say anything but in 3 she just did nothing for me. I do think it does the fun stuff better in this movie than 2 but I still needed some more edge. They 100% killed this third act though and I’m sorry to the cop but man I thought it was him. Nothing will ever top the third act of Scream 1 but this was amazing. Also loved that we got some more Randy in this as he will forever be a goat to the Scream franchise. I wish they could’ve ended the trilogy on a little better note but I still would watch this again.
