I think Hammer’s psychological, grounded films are much more superior and entertaining compared to monster stuff, and I just love this whole wave of 60s Psycho-inspired horror flicks (especially ones from the early 60s). Love the camera work and the black and white look, and there were multiple moments of solid suspense. Not a big fan of the ending, but I love everything that came before.
