I don't even know where to start. My art history teacher talked about this movie in class today and I thought it was gonna be another documentary-ish boring movie about an artist and ww2. I was mistaken. The title is very accurate because I couldn't look away for a seconf. I was so invested in how the story was gonna progress and how the relationships between the characters were gonna evolve. I also loved the way artistic burnout and the pressure to fit in with what's popular were portrayed and although not 100 percent accurate I think this was great. I also really liked all the paralels of kurt and his family and all the little details. I'll probably rewatch this movie again sometime just so I can fully appreciate all the detail and effort put into this. This was really chaotic but overall great movie. Highly recommend

It’s been a while since i gave a movie 10/10, i couldn’t resist not to give it to this piece of art. Totally deserves it. One of the best movies i’ve ever seen, straight to my top 20 no doubt.

This film is the definition of art. Three hours that feel like a lifetime: three hours of suffering, of joy, of truth, three hours of art. A masterpiece in every sense.i loved every second of it, for me as someone who wants to understand the past, this piece was a duty task really, this kind of films are always on my mind idk how to describe it. I was emotionally moved and intellectually stimulated. This Film is gonna be special to me im sure as it is from the moment i finished it.As a FAN of movie art I recommend everyone out there, this beautiful and important motion picture.
