Typically the best films in this franchise feature character drama that makes the horror stand out more, and this one has it, even if some oft he horror isn't the best, but it's still fun and creepy at a ton of points. I haven't seen Ends, but this DGG trilogy isn't too awful, but rewatching this and seeing some creative direction and editing, imnworried about a rewatch og Kills.

this is easily my second favorite halloween behind the original. for me, the casting is the best out of the entire series. everyone fits perfectly and the whole town really feels lived in. Michael feels ominous as ever and evil as before. this one also has a great level of rewatch ability because of the characters & plot. nearly perfect

This is how you reboot a franchise. I had minor pacing issues in the 3rd act, but other than that thought it was really good and the 2nd best Halloween movie.
