Classic case of too cute to be scary. Also kind of stupid to the point of annoyance. I guess it’s trying to be funny but it’s just kind of tedious. I wish Ben and his friends were more formidable and could’ve killed all these slack-jawed morons standing around gobsmacked going, “Gee, I think there’s rats.” Ben innocent!
Also was not expecting this to be a singing child movie with puppets.
