the animation is kind of like astronomically shitty compared to other disney movies that came out around the same time (pinocchio, snow white) theres no sense of weight or depth to any of the characters or their actions, the whole world feels really 2 dimensional but then theres moments of like super stark 3d images? idk the story isnt the most intriguing and i hate gulliver so so bad. his only reaction to anything is “my oh my 😯” and it makes me want to bully him. there are cool/interesting things about how like tiny people would interact with giants and i enjoy some of the buts related to that, but thats a minimal positive compared to the massive negatives.
