Note: I was looking through Sylvester Stallone’s filmography and came across this. When I read the description and reviews I literally said to myself “Oh, we’re watching tf out of this idc”. Can you really blame a curious person with nothing better to do like me? Also this gives me pop culture knowledge points so yay.
I can’t believe I’m saying this on this app but for reference, I watched this on xvidoes.com (LMAOOOOO). So I guess this will be the first porno I log on Letterboxd? Let’s go???
Review:
“Be careful, you bit me last time”
No wait I actually see the vision guys! This is going to sound sus no matter how I say it but I actually had fun with this.
• I was really vibing with the soundtrack. To my surprise, it’s actually on spotify and I’m listening to it as I’m writing this review.• Kitty and Stud’s relationship was adorable for the most part. There were a few wholesome moments where I “awww”ed.• The bendy mirror stuff was a cool visual touch.• Ok, it was genuinely adorable seeing everyone laughing and being silly while rolling around each other on the ground. Yes, it’s kinda stupid but they’re having fun ok!• Stud’s mirror scene was one of my fav scenes. What I liked about it was the angle trick and surrealism. I wasn’t expecting a hint of surrealism in this porno but I gladly accepted it. Also Sylvester Stallone flexing in a mirror!!• The blood scene was another fav scene of mine. I was getting Martin (1977) flashbacks and we ALL know how I feel about that movie.• I love Sylvester’s hair in this. It’s like Rambo mixed with Al Pacino in The Panic in Needle Park (1971).• I did skip some parts that focused on characters other than Stud and Kitty. I’m sorry but y'all are not who I want to see right now.
I went into this with a “this is gonna be ridiculous” kind of smile on my face and was ready to embrace the “unconventional” nature of it all. I think that’s the key to enjoying something like this. You just have to “Claire, it’s French!” your way through it.
I think the version I watched was shortened by like five minutes so I’ll have to look into that but that sounds like a job for when it’s not 6 AM.
