I felt that the movie would have been better without the sci-fi stuff. I don’t really see it adding much to the story and it seemed like it would have been much more important based on the aesthetics the movie was going for.

It's not bad. It needs quite some time to get going, but it does it is rather good. Unfortunately it ends, when I began to like it. You could really see that KIN was made with the intention to make a sequel and this maybe bothers me the most, because it let's so many questions unanswered.

I don’t know if I just rate everything really high when I see it in theaters (other than mamma Mia 2) but THIS was worthy of a 4.5 star rating and screw all the people that are giving this bad ratings. This is one of the best movies of the year by far. And that lil twist/cameo/reveal thing in the end... I want to write a full review but I’m tired and school starts tomorrow so see ya
