even tho we can’t refuse the impact it had on cinema, we sure also can refuse that this film lacks for a better word “narrative”
while some can disagree, the ideal part of a film is plot/narrative, the short has a simple plot, but they delivered it very weakly, I understand Griffith was still experimenting and he had a limited budget for this short, but with those constraints doesn’t mean you have to make the actors go inside-outside-inside-outside at the same location
because of those soal reasons, it’s safe to say to give this a 2,5/5
