WTFF ANG GALING NG ACTING NI KHALIL, NEVER THOUGHT HE HAS THAT EMOTIONS AND SKILLS.
This movie is so nostalgic for me. The first half is a warm feeling and it gets uneasy as it goes on but I never thought that the ending would be so devastating. Bagay sila ehh medyo homophobic naman ng unti itong si Magnus, but they are the perfect match. Ako si Felix at si Felix ay si Ken. I relate to Felix very much—loner, achiever, and most of all a weirdo—feel ko tuloy para sakin itong movie na ito, only thing I disliked in this is it leaned too much on crime and it kinda focuses on it at the end but overall definitely in my top 1 for now or forever.
Kakanood ko ng foreign films andami kong naisip na movie na parang same vibes:
1. Call me by your name, nung sa gitna and end, dun banda sa nakitulog si Magnus Kila Felix and sa end is yung pag yearn ni Felix kay Magnus.
2. Donnie Darko, parang buong movie ata may vibes na Donnie Darko yung weird at uneasy vibes tsaka yung nagdridrift si Felix at some parts.
3. Jongens, yung part na pumunta sila Magnus at Felix sa dating bahay nila na natabunan ng lahar
4. All About Lily Chou-Chou, it vibes most with the characters si Felix ay si Yuichi, si Magnus ay yung babaeng magaling magplay ng instruments, at si Maxim naman yung best friend ni Yuichi na nagbago after malunod yung naging feeling gang boss.
Tama ako diba kung napanood niyo yang mga yan anglaki ng similarities nila as in.
Back to the movie, I really love it. Felix was smart and kind but of course everybody has a freaky side. Tangina di man lang pinakita nung nag sasalsal si Maxim. But what I can't get over is how perfect Magnus and Felix are, alam ko na nasabi ko na, pero, they feel like yung mag best friends na yung isa is slowly nafafall kay isa, but nobody wants to accept and nobody wants to say anything kaya nasasayang yung bond nila. I do not believe na if mahal mo ang kaibigan mo dapat wag mong sasabihin, kasi baka daw masayang samahan niyo, but for me to love is to be brave, anong silbi ng pagmamahal mo kung di mo naman kayang iparamdam. Not telling someone that you love them because you do not want your bond to be at risk, is just the same as never loving them at all. That's why I really felt Felix in the cubicle scene. PUTANGINAMO MAXIM dahil sayo wala na si Tita ko na cool, naudlot at nawala rin ang love life ni Felix dahil sayo, pwede pa sana yung ayusin.
In all seriousnesssss, this movie is really great and I will be exploring more movies from my home country because I do not know we possess gems like this one. Angpogi mo Khalil and you are such a great actor.
