The whole time, sakal na sakal ako. Ewan ko bakit. This is what the film conveys to me. I see Alex as someone who really wants to be seen more and it ties din with her struggle in creatives and with her two romantic relationships.
She can't fully be out with Kate because she's keeping herself a secret from her best friend. She can't fully be out with Jess naman kasi she needs to keep them a secret from the world.
And the whole time, I feel like Alex's character still hold backs, even in the end. Kaya nga siguro she has no plans for tonight. Just this. Keeping a safe distance between her and Jess. Planning nothing more nor less.
Baka Bukas, magbago.
P.S. Ganda at galing ni Jasmine. Bading nga talaga ako.
P.P.S. Siyang tunay nga yung ibang reviews dito. It reeks burgis. 🥲
