i genuinely don’t like clowns and i felt uncomfortable the entire movie. the whole mockumentary thing that fellini was going for just seems like a cover up for some secret clown fetish that he has.

pure pro-clown propaganda. i’m glad that this didn’t get more attention otherwise i feel like we as a society nowadays wouldn’t be so anti-clown. imagine living in a time where clowns weren’t looked down upon. where calling someone a clown wasn’t an insult and instead seen as a compliment. the clown sightings in 2016 being treated as some meet and greet with your favorite clown. ronald mcdonald would still be around and would be even bigger than the mcdonald’s franchise itself. not a single time have i ever thought to myself, “maybe clowns aren’t that bad.” fellini is sick for being such a clown lover. cool concept but i feel like this wasn’t the best fellini film i could’ve started with.

also why didn’t anyone tell me that i could’ve used kanopy this entire time using my student login???? y’all fake as hell

Listen idk it's very interesting and sometimes fun, but also not like super fun, especially if you don't care for clowns too much. And then it's also just kinda boring and repetitive throughout?? It's worth a watch cause there's alot of interesting things to look at and If you like funny clown stuff youll love it, but yeah, not a great movie
