The professional mercenary Sir William Walker instigates a slave revolt on the Caribbean island of Queimada in order to help improve the British sugar trade. Years later he is sent again to deal with the same rebels that he built up because they have seized too much power that now threatens British sugar interests.

Back on the Brando bus lol. I’ve given myself enough time cause I’m not burnt out on Brando anymore (no pun intended). I just realized that his hair is blonde. Wait now later in the movie it’s not. It’s not grey blonde it’s more like his natural hair color and blonde. I like the grainy film. But the formatting is a bit odd. Like it’s just barely bigger than the 3:4 format. Looks great though. It was decent. Interesting way of ending a movie. Another Brando film crossed off

Great anti-colonialist movie, the casting is questionable (pontecorvo found Dolores’ actor while location scouting and chose him for his face - why not pick an actor that can match up to Brando?)
