I knew James Adomian was going to be in this but I didn't know I was going to get to watch him do like ten minutes of stand-up.
I love these movies about sad, mopey, morally gray, mourning creative types who wander around dusk-sunlit rooms and don't know what to do with themselves. It's very sad and usually with movies like this there's a bit of hope at the end, but even here I think that beat is meant to instill a false sense of security. The most powerful aspect in this is how one character's actions will indirectly affect the actions of another and how this swirl of hurt feelings and confusion is the most realistic reaction to grief. Overall, very strong and right in my wheelhouse.
