So throughout the first half I was like “Damn, did the Wayne’s really had to die for this?”
But then the second half arrived, and with some great visuals, a wonderful third act with a great chase and a beautiful monologue, I was like “Damn, the Wayne’s really had to die for this…”

surprisingly i enjoyed this i thought it was gonna be boring but it kept me entertained and also the scenes where he was running away and jumping around were so satisfying

Not Japanese but clearly influenced by the same themes as many of the films I have watched so far for the class. I think this film is extremely well executed for the time period and I think I watched a pretty bad rendition of the film because it looked very damaged. The Story is great I imagine it did very well for the time.

Not Japanese but clearly influenced by the same themes as many of the films I have watched so far for the class. I think this film is extremely well executed for the time period and I think I watched a pretty bad rendition of the film because it looked very damaged. Obviously it's quite fun to watch Zorro do Zorro stuff, especially when it's Douglas Fairbanks, but otherwise the film is just kinda what you'd expect of a film in this type in this era. But still, what's iconic remains iconic.
