Didn't really pay attention in the last few minutes but it was kinda fun, but I think it got a bit dramatic sometimes. I loved James Cagney though, makes me wanna watch more of his films, before all these other gangster actors he was the og. And Joan Blondell is just terrific! God I love that woman so much. She's very sexy, very wisecracking and sassy. There's a lot of precode scenes in here, infamously the one where she's bathing away. It was a very hot film. I do love precodes from time to time. Also just noticed that was baby Ray Milland in the supporting role
