Lewis Teague is an underrated genre hack, and this is an appropriately underrated genre hackfest. Sheen is coked out, Biehn is invariably dialed up, Dennis Haysbert is trying to keep a straight face, and Bill Paxton is sadly underused. Whole thing was fairly entertaining if you excuse the period racism and gung-ho jingoism. Also, the last act of this movie is really bananas in that late 80s/early 90s way (think: COMMANDO). Not bad!
