October Scare-A-Thon continues!
This one’s not a bad Friday The 13th rip-off. It’s an interesting kitchen of slasher and survivalist elements. The setting is cool, NorCal forest, and the cast is pretty good as well.
Early roles for Rachel Ward, Daryl Hannah, Adrian Zmed, and Joe Pantoliano (who is terrific btw).
This is one of those I saw a bunch as a kid. Glad to revisit and still enjoy!

I’m only a minute in a so far they used a stunt double with a very visible face that is distinctly different than the actress who plays that character. The stunt double also has different hair color, hair style, and hair length to the actual actress.
That’s all I want to say
Edit: I’m now 2 minutes in and at the sight of her presumed boyfriend’s gashed leg, this woman says in the most monotonous and unalarmed voice “I’ll get help” and then sprints away. This movie is fantastic
