October Scare-A-Thon continues!

This one’s not a bad Friday The 13th rip-off. It’s an interesting kitchen of slasher and survivalist elements. The setting is cool, NorCal forest, and the cast is pretty good as well.

Early roles for Rachel Ward, Daryl Hannah, Adrian Zmed, and Joe Pantoliano (who is terrific btw). 

This is one of those I saw a bunch as a kid. Glad to revisit and still enjoy!

The characters are such a snoozefest omg. Whole film felt like Just Before Dawn from Shein.

i liked the characters in this more than i normally would in a 80s slasher, something endearing about them, also they weren’t the standard dumbasses

if i’m being honest the movie was a little slow it had some good moments but overall not to much going for i also wish there was alot more kills then just the opening and then the 3 of the group that died but i will say it had some decent amount of kind of likeable main characters other than zorich’s annoying ass but it was an decent 80s slasher
