It's weird in some moments Raffey Cassidy playing young Celeste sounded more like Natalie Portman than Natalie did in this film because of that accent. Also the music had potential with the lyrics but whoever produced them made them unlistenable. The costuming is really beautiful, all the glitter and glamour in antithesis with the dark subject of the film kind of mirrors Celeste's character. With this energetic pop persona she tries to erase or distract herself and others from the traumatic events that she's experienced but they keep following her
