The best part of this movie was the premise, which is not a great sign, but it was pretty captivating in a number of ways. I really liked a lot of the set design and the characterizations. The acting was pretty great and I felt like it seemed believable. However, I think it spent too little time exploring the world they created and too much time focusing on the intricate plans to undermine it. Comparing it, oddly enough, to The Hunger Games, we had the entire first book/movie dedicated to showing us the world and examining how things have changed, and then some of the second and the entirety of the third (which was, I felt, the weakest) to undo that. This feels like the middle chapter of a trilogy, where the first should've been the set up and the third should've been the aftermath of the ending. I would definitely watch that trilogy.
